About the game

Paper Drift is a free mobile arcade game: steer a folded paper plane down an endless shaft, through eight worlds of girders — and the things that hunt you.

Fly level to dive faster; bank to buy time. Every 400 points the shaft becomes another world — a paper factory, a cardboard depot, an alien lab, a foundry, a jungle, a glacier, a desert and, each Halloween, a haunted manor — and six of them send something after you: a drone, a rockfall, a flying saucer with a tractor beam, a saguaro that throws cactus balls, an ice wizard and a spectre.

Along the way there are 67 figures to collect from the windows, a 13-stamp jigsaw album, 18 planes, 19 trails and 99 colours. All of it is cosmetic: no plane flies better than another.

There is not a single hand-drawn picture: every fold, shadow and ink edge is drawn by the game's code, and before a stretch of the shaft ships, the game flies it itself to prove it can be passed.
